The Novation Launchkey 88 MK4 is a powerful MIDI controller designed to keep your creativity flowing from the first note to the final mix. With an 88-note semi-weighted waterfall-style keyboard, expressive performance controls, and deep integration with all major DAWs, the Launchkey 88 MK4 gives you hands-on control over your instruments, effects, and mixing without interrupting your workflow.

The custom-designed semi-weighted keybed delivers a responsive, piano-like playing experience, while 16 velocity-sensitive FSR pads with polyphonic aftertouch let you finger drum, trigger clips, and play instruments with exceptional accuracy. Eight endless rotary encoders and nine faders provide immediate control over your DAW's mixer, plug-ins, and effects, helping you stay focused on making music instead of navigating menus.

Launchkey 88 MK4 includes an expanded collection of onboard composition tools that work whether you're producing in a DAW, controlling hardware synths, or creating on an iPhone or iPad. Scale Mode keeps every note in key, while Chord Detector displays the chord you're playing on the OLED screen. Three chord modes, an editable arpeggiator, keyboard split and layer functions, and support for up to 30 scales make it easy to develop ideas, build progressions, and experiment with new musical directions.

Compatible with Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Bitwig, and Ardour without additional setup, Launchkey 88 offers hands-on control of transport, mixing, EQ, clip launching, and plug-in parameters. A full-size 5-pin MIDI output connects directly to hardware synthesizers, while USB class-compliant operation supports iPhone, iPad, and a wide range of music apps. With Novation Components software, you can create and store custom mappings for pads, faders, and encoders, making Launchkey adapt to your workflow.
