High-Quality Audio with Flexibility for Postproduction
The compact receiver connects to your mobile device via USB-C connector. An onboard switch toggles between noise cancellation modes and a female USB-C port supports simultaneous device charging.
The transmitter embeds timecode data into its internal recording files for efficient postproduction workflow. Dual-file recording saves both an original track and algorithm-enhanced version. The transmitter supports 32-bit float recording and Lossless Audio modes for greater control over your audio files.
Adaptive Gain Control
Toggle between two different gain modes for adaptive control over your audio recording. Automatic mode prevents audio clipping and is especially useful when you anticipate loud interferences. Dynamic mode adjusts gain in response to volume changes for consistency, which is ideal for more predictable settings.
Voice Presets and Two-Level Noise Cancellation
Further customize your sound with three voice presets—regular, rich, and bright—depending on the tone you'd like to achieve. Two-level noise cancellation helps anticipate additional disruption. Basic noise cancellation reduces low, droning sounds like fans and air-conditioning. Strong noise cancellation is designed for noisy environments, significantly cutting ambient noise.
Dual-Band Wireless, Bluetooth Connectivity
The DJI Mic 3 system supports dual-band wireless frequency hopping between 2.4 and 5.8 GHz signals from up to 1312' away. Bluetooth 5.4 technology is also integrated into the system for connectivity with your mobile device. The transmitter unit can directly connect to DJI Osmo 360, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without a receiver.
Long Battery Life
Internal batteries on the transmitter units keep the system all day. Power-saving features on each component like automatic sleep mode, automatic power off, and simultaneous use while charging your smartphone help stretch this battery life even further. A magnetic charging cable is included to recharge the transmitter unit.

Can the system be Jam-synced for timecode? Does the device work as either a timecode master and/or slave?

Regarding the Timecode Mode of DJI Mic 3, please kindly note the following:
Master Run: Main RX timecode, supports outputting timecode information (Main RX).
Auto Jam (Default Mode): Secondary RX timecode mode, supports receiving timecode information (Secondary RX).
The timecode mode is automatically set based on the RX networking status and cannot be manually adjusted.

The DJI Mic 3 Compact Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone can be used with two DJI Mic 3 transmitters. The DJI Mic Mini Clip-On Transmitter with Built-In Microphone and DJI Mic 2 Clip-On Transmitter/Recorder with Built-In Microphone (which works with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3) are not compatible for use with the DJI Mic 3 receiver. The DJI Mic 3 system is available with two transmitters, which is the DJI Mic 3 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone (BH #DJM32TX1RXCC) or if you already have the system with a single transmitter, you can purchase a second DJI Mic 3 transmitter, which is the DJI Mic 3 Clip-On Transmitter/Recorder with Built-In Microphone (BH # DJM3TRNSMTER).

The DJI Mic 3 Charging Case can be used for linking the transmitters with the receiver, as well as storing the transmitters, receiver, mobile phone adapters (USB-C or Lightning), locking audio adapter cable, windscreen, magnet, and magnetic clip. When fully charged, it can charge two transmitters and one receiver approx. 2.4 times.
