The ADOX Colloida C Coating Gelatin is a purified, chemically inactive casting gelatin that can be used in daylight. It is suitable as a gloss aid for the hot drying of baryta papers. To use, stir 1.4 to 2.8 oz into 1 quart of water at 104°F and stir continuously until completely dissolved and free of lumps.
Uses
- Undercoat or overcoat photographic emulsions
- Make an underlying coating for separate manufactured liquid photo emulsions
- Improve the glossiness of fiber-based photographic paper when using a dry air print dryer
- Base coating on highly absorbent surfaces to reduce the amount of photo emulsion used
