How close are clips recommended for hanging backdrop?
I have them every 12 inches. I think they could go up to 18 inches just fine though. I personally would go up to 24. Thats a lot of weight for 6 clips to hold. (Assuming 10 wide drop.)

This is a 4 ft, straight rail section, designed to augment and allow customization of the Delta Muslin Mover background support system. This is a ceiling mounted track, and it requires nylon track carriers, and spring clips to enable it to accept a hanging cloth background. Question is this clips and carrier come with the pole?
As the other poster mentioned, it comes with 4 clips and 4 carriers. I found that for light-weight, dyed muslins it was alright to use one per foot (esp. if your muslin has grommets for hanging). I also have a very wide, painted muslin without grommets that I have a clipped every 6 because of the weight.
