You can use as many as you need to. I'd say no less than 5, though. It all depends on how draped you want your background. I hope this helps.

why the f are these so expensive?
I didnt consider 15 of these too terribly expensive at $24.95, these really make the job of switching backdrops and moving them very easy with the right setup, much easier and less time consuming than hanging, and unhanging everytime you need to switch, in my studio I had close to 20 backdrops hanging at all times and this is well worth the money to change backdrops without making the customer wait while you hang one or take another one day multiple times.
