The 1TB microSD Express Memory Card from SanDisk features a storage capacity of 1TB and takes advantage of its NVMe PCIe 3.1 interface to support the capture of 5.3K and 4K video at 30 fps, slow-mo Full HD video at 60 fps, and 10MP raw image bursts without dropping shots. It can achieve read speeds of up to 880 MB/s and write speeds of up to 800 MB/s, with sustained write speeds that will not drop below 745 MB/s.

To help facilitate card usage in almost any environment as well as keeping your content safe, this card is resistant to water, temperature, humidity, drops, shocks, magnets, x-rays, and wear. Furthermore, SanDisk ThermAdapt helps keep this card from overheating. Should this card's data become compromised, two years of RescuePRO Deluxe is included for free.

Please note that while this card is backward compatible with UHS-II and UHS-I devices, it will operate at UHS-I / U3 speeds, even when used in UHS-II devices. Also supported is the A1 spec for use in mobile devices.

Do you need a specific reader to obtain the read speeds?

The SanDisk 512GB microSD Express Memory Card has a maximum read speed of 880 MB/s. And there are many factors to obtain that with a card reader. The computer's USB speed and the actual computer configuration can reduce the read speed. These are relatively good fast readers: https://bhpho.to/4fWxWaW. There is no specific reader the manufacturer lists.

What will the read & write speeds be when used in a UHS-I speed device?

When using a UHS-I device, the SanDisk 256GB microSD Express Memory Card will have read speeds no higher than 880 MB/s and write speeds no higher than 650 MB/s, with sustained write speeds that will not drop below 210 MB/s.
