Ok! You need a manual, fixed focus 35 to shoot on the street. It's always ready, no time lost to acquire focus and the engraved depth of field scale on the barrel means you can "focus" with your thumb and the camera at your side. Just like the old days! It is somewhat less contrasty than the top of the line Voigtlanders & Sonys, but this cleans up nicely in post. Don't miss it if you can!

How do you take the lens hood off? I want to put a filter on the lens. The hood is not coming off easily.
The lens hood just gets screwed on the Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 Lens for Sony E. If it is screwed on very tightly it can be hard to remove. You can use this Sensei 55-62mm Rubberized Filter Wrench (BH #SEFWM5562) to help you remove it.
