Headless mode and automatic flying functions make the Skyhawk GPS Foldable Video Drone from Vivitar a friendly drone for new pilots. Yet, it still has the ability to capture aerial videos at an impressive UHD 2.7K resolution. Everything you need is included, such as the flight battery, built-in memory card, and remote controller with a built-in 4.3" screen. The screen lets you view a live feed of what the drone's 1-axis gimbal camera is seeing. Getting the Skyhawk into the air and back home is as easy as piloting, with automatic takeoff, return-home function, and automatic landing.
Headless Mode
Normally, when you push forward on the control stick, the drone will move in the direction it's facing. This requires you to keep track of its position in the air. Headless mode makes piloting easier for beginners by tying the drone's position to your orientation. So, regardless of where the drone is facing, push forward to have it fly away from you, pull back to fly towards you, and right/left to go from side to side.
