The Matrix M05 40W Mini RGB Panel Light Kit from PHOTOOLEX is an ultracompact LED panel that offers bright, adjustable RGB and CCT lighting with powerful output. Small enough to fit in your pocket, the M05 features a built-in battery, smart cooling, multiple mounting options, smartphone app control, and built-in effects. Included with the light are light-shaping tools, including barndoors, a honeycomb grid, and a diffuser.
Compact and Versatile
Designed for on-camera, on-stand, or close-up work, the M05 provides bright output for such a tiny form factor.
It measures only 3.9 x 3.8" and can be mounted onto a camera or a stand.
Accurate, Ultrabright Output
The M05 features a CRI 96+ rating for color reproduction accuracy with a bright output of up to 4580 lux and a power output equivalent of 40W. The 0-100% dimming function provides control over the brightness.
CCT Mode
CCT mode allows a selection of color temperatures from 2500 to 9900K to easily simulate the golden warmth of a tungsten bulb, the diffused blue tint of an overcast day, and everything in between. This is a perfect mode for precisely matching ambient light or other lights, on set or on location.
Full-Color RGB Control
RGB mode provides a selection of up to 36,000 colors on the color wheel, with adjustable saturation and brightness controls. This mode allows you to add interest, drama, and fun to still and video images. Light a subject in any of the colors and tweak the saturation and brightness for a subtle accent on hair, clothes, or background.
21 Lighting Effects
There are 21 realistic animated effects built into the M05 that can add drama to video content to help you tell the story. Effects include flash, TV light, candle, flame, warning, strobe, fade, gradient, fireworks, club, and romance.
Light-Shaping Accessories
To ensure the LED array doesn't cast harsh or multiple shadows, a magnetic silicone diffuser is included.
A honeycomb grid and barndoors are also included to add directional shaping to your light.
Control Options
The PHOTOOLEX app for iOS and Android devices can control your M05 light settings and modes, and it can also group lights and control multiple units in sync with each other.
You can also control the light via the onboard controls and bright 1.44" rear display.
Mounting Options
The M05 features a 1/4"-20 thread, and it's also equipped with a DJI-compatible quick release mount that provides magnetic quick mounting using separately available magnetic quick release mounts.
Power and Environmental Features
The powerful built-in 33.12Wh battery provides up to 40 minutes of runtime at 100% brightness, up to 75 minutes at 50% brightness, and up to 400 minutes at only 10% brightness.
Smart cooling ensures smooth operation even at full brightness and warm temperatures, and adjustable fan speed allows you to turn off the fan when you need quiet on set.
