Capture low-light content with greater gimbal flexibility when you fly the Mini 5 Pro Camera Drone Bundle with RC2 from DJI. The new edition of the Mini Pro gives you a bigger 1" 50MP CMOS sensor for improved image quality in bright to low-light conditions. To shoot nighttime images and videos safely, the Mini 5 Pro has an upgraded nightscape omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system that can operate in just 1 lux of illumination. When capturing 4K60 HDR video, vertical video clips, or 4K120 slow-motion shots, the Mini 5 Pro's updated gimbal can now handle more challenging angles with 225° of rotation. These improvements join an upgrade to ActiveTrack 360 and a boost in battery life, while still retaining Mini Pro's palm-sized and foldable design.
Difficult Shots Made Easy
Keeping the best from the last generation, the Mini 5 Pro's gimbal can rotate to shoot true vertical images and videos you can immediately share on social media. This is now joined by a 225° wide-angle roll rotation that can be operated manually or work alongside intelligent flight modes, such as QuickShots, giving you the ability to capture shots at difficult angles.
Improved Camera System
Now with a larger 1" 50MP CMOS, the Mini 5 Pro's one-lux low-light content enjoys improved detail. Capture video at 4K60 HDR with 14 stops of dynamic range, as intelligent processing optimizes results. When subjects have to stand out, use the 48mm Med-Tele mode and 2x zoom.

Other features include a 55° upward tilt to help with shooting tall structures, the ability to slow down the action in 4K120 resolution, 10-bit video with 12,800 ISO, and D-Log M and HLG color modes.

Nightscape Obstacle Avoidance
While shooting in low-light environments, the new nightscape obstacle avoidance system can use the front-facing LiDAR sensor and omnidirectional sensors to auto-detect and avoid objects with just one lux of brightness. The full suite of object detection sensors includes the forward-facing LiDAR, fisheye lenses for front, rear, left, right, and upward detection, bottom-facing binocular lenses, and a 3D infrared sensor.
Safer Trips Home
Supporting L1 and L5 dual-band GNSS, the Mini 5 Pro can connect to more satellites to achieve stable and precise positioning when flying and returning home. If that signal is lost and the Mini 5 Pro has sufficient light, the drone can use its non-GNSS RTH mode to use real-time vision positioning and map construction to memorize flight routes for a safe return. Thanks to nighttime imaging performance, nighttime RTH mode can use the forward LiDAR to detect objects for uneventful low-light flights home.
Intelligent Tracking and Flight Modes
Pilots can continue to create pro-level sequences with the Mini 5 Pro and DJI's assortment of tracking and automatic flight modes.

  • FocusTrack: This system upgrades ActiveTrack to ActiveTrack 360, keeps Spotlight and Point of Interest, and adds automatic Standard and Cycling modes. The Mini 5 Pro can use Standard to follow a path in real time and maintain a steady altitude and distance. If it detects the subject cycling, it can enter Cycling mode for better reaction to quick turns and speed changes.
  • MasterShots: Automatically fly professional maneuvers for cinematic results with portrait, close-ups, and long-distance modes.
  • Free Panorama: Create seamless panorama shots by stitching multiple images of a manually selected subject or landscape.
  • QuickShot: Have the drone automatically fly creative patterns while focusing on a subject with Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, Boomerang, and Asteroid.
Remote QuickTransfer
Using the DJI Fly app and a Bluetooth device, you can remotely wake the Mini 5 Pro for fast data transfer. Connect to it over Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for transfer speeds up to 100 MB/s.
Camera Bundle with RC 2
This version of the DJI Mini 5 Pro includes a bundle of accessories for you to make the most out of your flights right out of the box. Compared to the standard version, the bundle's significant upgrade is to the controller, swapping the RC-N3 with the RC 2, giving you a built-in multitouch display. You also get four intelligent flight batteries, a two-way charging hub, five pairs of propellers, and a USB-C data cable.

Ruggard DLP-22 22" Drone Landing Pad

Easily locate where to land and shield your drone from damage with this DLP-22 22" Drone Landing Pad from Ruggard. Take out the landing pad and watch as the self-opening design springs into action, expanding the pad to its full 22". Made from durable water-resistant nylon, the landing pad covers a considerable amount of ground, protecting your drone and gimbal from loose rocks, dirt, sand, and other debris that can kick up during takeoff and landing. The double-sided nylon is brightly colored on each side, making it easy to spot from the air.

Easier Landing
Each side features a white circle and a large, bold "H" on a colored background. Blue on one side and orange on the other. By creating a stark contrast with the surrounding terrain, the landing pad makes it easier to spot from the air, especially when using goggles to fly via FPV mode.
Keep It in Place
A landing pad loses its utility if it's accidentally moved or the wind blows it away. To prevent this from happening, Ruggard includes three pegs that you can fit through integrated straps, giving you the ability to securely pin the pad to the ground.

The DJI Mini 5 Pro bundle is a great value for a super lightweight drone camera. It’s got excellent obstacle avoidance and a great camera. I think it will be a good place to start and then go beyond.

Great for low or flat lighting during cloudy days in Alaska. Really like having the zoom along with 4k at 60fps, D-Log is handy if recolonization post edit is needed along with jpeg/raw formats for prosumer quality b-rolls.

The batteries that come with the DJI Mini 5 Pro Drone with RC2 Fly More Combo can be charged with the included 2-Way Charging Hub with an USB-C wall charger. The remote can be charged with a compatible USB-C wall charger and the USB-C charge cable.
