The motor is ball bearing and oiled for life producing a smooth, quiet deployment. In addition, there is an automatic thermal overload cut-out and integral interlocking gears. The fabric roller is mounted on two heavy duty brackets equipped with self-aligning bearings.

An additional feature to this screen is the sophisticated braking system which will stop the screen in either the up or down function while eliminating any "coasting".
