Better than Bluetooth for my Bose sound bar

I got a brand new TV and Bose sound bar. Imagine my surprise when there was no way to connect the two except with Bluetooth. Not wanting to return the equipment, I did some research and found out that this little beauty was the answer. It works great!

I purchased a new TV that only has HDMI eArch, but I have a surround sound system that only has optical. I plugged this in and everything is working great. This was plug and play mostly. I had to change one sound setting on my Samsung TV, but it was easy and quick.
