Offering the most flexible coverage options as well as the powerful and pure acoustic performance, the dBTechnologies VIO C212 is designed to create horizontal or vertical line-source arrays and features a simple, yet rapid rigging system. The VIO C212 houses premium neodymium components including a two 12" woofers with a 3" voice coil and a single 1.4” high-frequency driver (exit) with a 3" voice coil that are powered by an integrated 1600 W RMS (3200 peak) Class-D Digipro G4 amp module with powerful DSP that delivers an impressive 141 dB SPL.
As a default, the VIO C212 is equipped with dBTechnologies RDNet card for real-time monitoring and remote control via Aurora Net software. The preamplifier is ready for future upgrades with Audinate Dante card. Featuring an exclusively designed waveguide and an asymmentrical horn, each VIO C212 enclosure precisely provides a horizontal 22.5° angle coverage pattern.
- Ergonomic design for fast installation of vertical and horizontal clusters
- Wooden cabinet with polyurea finish, to combine the highest acoustic performance to sturdiness
- Digipro G4 digital amplifier with 3200 W peak output
- Balanced IN/LINK input and output audio connections with Floating Audio technology
- Power daisy-chain with POWERCON TRUE1 connectors for simplified wiring
- IR sensors for master/slave recognition and control from a single cluster module
- Complete set of accessories for vertical and horizontal cluster rigging
- RDNet onboard for professional remote control through Control 2 or Control 8 interfaces and allows for integration with AURORA NET software
- VIO C series models can also be coupled vertically, simply by turning a speaker upside down and placing it on the top of a companion speaker. The infrared ports placed on the top of the cabinets allow the two speakers to communicate and to be processed as a single unit, manageable via the onboard display or via Aurora Net software. This way, you can easily set up double-line clusters (up to 32 elements) and modify the vertical dispersion pattern via digital steering. Finally, VIO C design allows you to create constant curvature arrays with up to four modules.
- VIO C clusters can be rapidly assembled thanks to the LP-1, a metal link-plug accessory (one is included in each VIO C unit), which links the rigging points placed on the corners of each cabinet so it can be flown via the DRK-C flybar for the cluster configuration. This allows you to add the DRKL-3 fly-bar link when three speakers are needed, or the DRKL-4 for four speakers, and the DRK-CCA flybar for the constant curvature array configuration. Enclosures are made of plywood reinforced by a black polyurea finish.
- A removable rain cover is included with each cabinet, which is also equipped with two side and two back handles for easy transportation and setup.
