The I/O Module - Low Voltage Controller is designed to integrate alarm sensors, electric door strikes, and contact closures into your Insteon ecosystem and home automation network. It is equipped with a sensor input and relay output, along with the capability of multiple relay configurations. Additionally, the unit is able to control low voltage devices like garage doors, electric door locks, pool valves, and sprinklers.
For additional flexibility and functionality, the controller can be used with the HUB 2 Central Controller (available separately) and a Connected Home Access subscription to implement things like mobile app control to set schedules, create scenes, control the module, seamless voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and control of other devices across the Insteon ecosystem, like shutting water off in the event of a leak when an electronic water valve is connected to the module.
