Bright Tangerine FX5 OpenRig Expert Kit

Designed to mount onto the top front corner of your Sony FX5 cinema camera, this FX5 Corner Top Plate from Bright Tangerine expands your rig's mounting options without taking up the entire top of your camera. The lightweight aluminum mount secures onto your camera using two captive mounting screws.

Mount a mic or light on top using the integrated cold shoe mount, and a QD socket offers quick mounting for a camera strap. An M4 thread on the front provides mounting for a separately available 15mm rod bracket such as the Bright Tangerine Forward Rod Mount.

The durable aluminum clamp requires installation onto the Bright Tangerine FX5 Corner Top Plate or NATO Top Plate, and it ensures there is no movement when mounted. A press lock tightens the cable without the need to tighten a screw. The lock fits HDMI cables with a thickness of 5.9 to 10.9mm.

The aluminum OpenRig Arca-Type Base from Bright Tangerine is a quick release plate that mounts on the bottom of your camera using the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws and is compatible with a separately available Arca-type receiver. It features a safety stop to provide extra security for your camera. Multiple threads around the base provide extension to your rig.

The base is part of the OpenRig accessory system, which includes a variety of riggings such as the Halo cage, OpenRig Rail, lens adapters, receivers, rails, arms, risers, and more.

The OpenRig Rail from Bright Tangerine is designed to provide a standard NATO rail for NATO clamp accessories such as extensions, top handles, monitors, and more. This versatile rail can be attached to plates, cages, and other surfaces via the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 base threads. The plate is compatible with Manfrotto/DJI RS gimbal base receivers.

On the top, dual NATO rails with Picatinny-style grooves provide safe, accurate positioning.
