Designed for large sound reinforcement applications, the dBTechnologies DVA T12 is a professional 3-way active line array speaker featuring state-of-the-art neodymium speakers and high-performance DIGIPRO digital amps with total of 1410W RMS output power. The speaker utilizes advanced DSP and premium quality AD-DA converter to deliver high-definition sonic images with massive SPL.
An internally slanted 12“ neodymium woofer features a band-pass housing and covers the low frequency range down to a remarkable 60 Hz to enable full-range applications. Two 6.5“ neodymium midrange drivers are placed close together inside a sealed basket to optimize displacement volume and maximize coherent coupling and response for critical midrange frequencies. The integrated phase plug feeds into a front-loaded horn to achieve a uniform coverage pattern. The DVA T12 is loaded with three 1" HF drivers tuned specifically for the custom designed array horn, maximizing the coupling of the drivers‘ outputs and extending the range of the HF signal.
- Fully powered three-way unit
- Switched-mode power supply with PFC (works from 90 to 240V)
- 1410W Class-D Digipro G2 amplifier
- Remote controllable with on-board RDNet port
- 56-bit DSP, 24-bit \ 48 kHz A/D conversion
- 9 onboard preset equalizations for a fast and easy setup
- Hardware and acoustical design is compatible with DVA T series systems
- Fully powered three-way unit
- The bass section controls a 12" neodymium woofer (3" voice coil) in a bandpass configuration enclosed inclined inside the box. This configuration guarantees a high SPL and the obtainment of frequencies of up to 60 Hz.
- The mid section controls two 6.5" neodymium midranges (2" voice coil), enclosed in their own acoustic chamber, and the horn is loaded with a power-factor corrector. The plug phases located in front of the cones prevent the vertical phases from overlapping, creating a local array with 6 output slots that increase directivity.
- The treble section controls three 1" neodymium drivers (1.5" voice coil) positioned vertically on an aluminum support and spaced to optimize the vertical cover.
- The horn design was specifically created to couple it correctly with the DVA T4 modules.
