Streamline cloud storage, multimedia transcoding, and Btrfs support with the Drivestor 4 Pro Gen2 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor. Featuring four 3.5/2.5" SATA drive bays, the Drivestor 4 Pro Gen2 provides read and write speeds up to 283 and 280 MB/s, respectively. A 1.7 GHz Realtek RTD1619B 4-Core CPU and 2GB of DDR4 RAM ensure smooth performance and multitasking, while a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port enables snappy networking. Three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports are also present for connecting external peripherals. Supporting RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 6, JBOD, and Single modes, this NAS enclosure can be used to serve files, run a multimedia center, backup critical data, run a surveillance system, and more.
Stay safe thanks to military grade 256-bit AES encryption and temperature resistance ranging from 32 to 104°F. A 120mm cooling fan prevents overheating, while LED indicators on the front panel allow for easy status monitoring. Running on the ADM operating system, the Asustor Drivestor 4 Pro Gen2 supports a range of apps and cloud-based storage options for easy access via a computer or iOS or Android device. This NAS enclosure is compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.6, Linux, UNIX, and FreeBSD operating systems. An AC adapter, a power cord, an RJ45 LAN cable, and 16 x 2.5" hard drive screws are included.

The Drivestor 4 Pro Gen2 contains a 1.7 GHz CPU, which is faster than the 1.4 GHz found in the first generation of Drivestor Pro NAS devices. The upgraded CPU also contains an upgraded iGPU that provides significant upgrades in transcoding features and performance.

The Lockerstor comes with the most up-to-date version of ADM to help protect against ransomware attacks, with Snapshot Center and Btrfs providing efficient snapshots to easily restore lost data. Other security features found on the Lockerstor are the ability to create one or more replacement administrator accounts, a firewall by ADM Defender that features black and white lists and the ability to change default ports, disable SSH, and Terminal to prevent remote attacks.
