The Saramonic SR-MSE is a professional pistol grip shockmount designed for shotgun and pencil microphones measuring 19 to 22mm (0.67 to 0.77”) in diameter. Its lightweight, ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip for handheld audio capture while securely accommodating shotgun microphones up to 15” long and pencil microphones as short as 4”. It can also be mounted to a boompole or microphone stand for added flexibility.
Dual Rycote Lyre Mounts
Dual Rycote Lyre mounts provide maximum isolation from vibrations and handling noise by absorbing shocks before they reach the microphone. Four selectable mounting points accommodate microphones ranging from 4 to 15" long, providing a secure and stable fit for a variety of shotgun and pencil microphone setups.
Versatile Positioning and Mounting
A heavy-duty quick-release locking nut makes it easy to adjust the microphone angle and securely locks it in position once tightened. A standard 3/8" thread on the base allows the SR-MSE to transition from handheld operation to mounting on compatible boom poles and microphone stands.
Integrated Cable Management
Built-in cable management helps prevent unwanted noise caused by loose and rattling cables. An integrated rear cable clip secures the microphone cable, while XLR cable routing through the handle provides a streamlined setup. The base also includes dedicated space to flush-mount a male XLR connection when using short cables.
