Part of the OptiTrack ActiveIO motion capture platform, the ActiveIO BaseStation component links up to 20 ActiveIO Tags, Clips, Wands, Squares, and Pucks to your Motive active tracking system. Use the BaseStation to enable the Motive software to perceive active LED components, even when the active markers, unlike passive markers, are blocked.
Up to 100' Range
At least one ActiveIO BaseStation is required per tracking system, and it uses an RF channel for communication using multiple internal antennas. For larger LED volumes, the approximate range from ActiveIO BaseStation to tracking devices is 100'.
Load Capacity
An ActiveIO BaseStation can support up to 20 ActiveIO devices. It will connect to the OptiTrack system without additional configuration by the user. For larger LED volumes, more BaseStations can be installed as your setup grows.
Indicator Bar
The Lightbar on the bottom front of the ActiveIO BaseStation indicates the device status, such as off, no IR, solid green connection, and cyan cycle. Behavior of the Lightbar on the ActiveIO BaseStation is controlled by firmware and is subject to change.
Ethernet Connection
The ActiveIO BaseStation connects to your Motive system via a local network using the Ethernet port on the back. The unit can be powered using PoE.
Hardware Features
The BaseStation is rated IP67 for outdoor use, so it can be installed in your outdoor LED volumes as well as indoors.
Mounting
You can mount the ActiveIO BaseStation unit onto a variety of stands, walls, or other rigging using the 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom.
