Designed for small to medium sized businesses that depend on 24/7 data service, the RackStation RS1226RP+ 8-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a versatile and reliable storage system that streamlines data backups, file sharing and synchronizing, productivity applications, and other essential office applications, with sequential read speeds of up to 2300 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 1500 MB/s. This unit has 8 drive bays, each of which natively supports 3.5" SATA hard drives, as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. Also available are two NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 slots for SSD caching. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their RS1226RP+, the optional RX426 expansion unit offers an additional four drive bays.
