Designed for the modern classroom, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU Gen 2 4K Wireless Display Receiver delivers app-free, wireless presentations with crystal-clear 4K image resolution from any teacher laptop, smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer (Windows/macOS/Chrome and iOS/Android). The 1000 EDU Gen 2 has been updated to provide native screen mirroring, no longer requiring apps to display content on your display and natively supporting Miracast, AirPlay, Google Cast, and ScreenBeam's own Orchestrate wireless display protocols. The Gen 2 model also features increased memory and storage possibilities with Ethernet, HDMI, and USB expansion ports. The bundle version of this receiver also equips you with a 3-year subscription to ScreenBeam's administrative tools—Signage+, Alert+, and Message Manager.
- Signage+ uses classroom and hallway displays to share visual content, announcements, schedules, and information when screens are not in use. Signage+ allows for centralized scheduling and management of digital signage across schools and campuses.
- Alert+ delivers alerts to displays for immediate and high visibility.
- Message Manager sends non-emergency messages to displays for daily communication and operational updates. Messages can be targeted to classrooms, buildings, or groups of displays.
- Miracast peer-to-peer connectivity allows users to share content wirelessly, use extended display, and take full advantage of Microsoft 365 features, including touchscreen support and inking
- AirPlay is supported natively in macOS and iOS devices by simply connecting your device to the same network as the ScreenBeam receiver or local Wi-Fi
