Dell 16X Aurora 16" Overview

Found in: Gaming Laptops

Featuring an Interstellar Indigo anodized aluminum lid, the Dell 16" Alienware 16X Aurora Gaming Laptop delivers an immersive gaming experience in a sleek yet unique design. Powered by an Intel Core 9 (Series 2) 24-Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics card, the Alienware 16X Aurora is optimized for high-res, high-frame-rate gameplay.

The 16" display features a 2560 x 1600 resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate. The screen is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, which eliminates tearing, and minimizes stutter and input lag. Play online with either Gigabit Ethernet LAN or Wi-Fi 7. Output to an external display via HDMI 2.1. USB-C, USB-A, and Bluetooth make it easy to connect gaming peripherals and accessories. Windows 11 Home is the installed operating system.

Intel Core Ultra Performance
The system houses an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. Its 24 cores are made up of 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficiency cores. The Performance cores handle CPU-intensive workloads while the efficiency cores take care of background tasks. The performance cores can be boosted to 5.5 GHz Max Turbo frequency.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series Graphics
The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics card delivers the performance you need for high frame rates and high-res visuals for the latest games. Utilize real-time raytracing and DLSS 4 to make sure you get the most out of your gameplay.
16" WQXGA Display
The 16" display features a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 240 Hz refresh rate. The OLED panel provides vibrant color and a near infinite contrast ratio. With 620 nits HDR peak brightness and a DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, the anti-glare finish helps reduce glare in brightly lit conditions.
Cryo-Chamber
Cool air is strategically pulled in above the keyboard and in the Cryo-Chamber via two fans with ultra-thin blades. The hot air is then pushed out of the four exhaust vents on the sides. The fans are designed to keep the system cool, but also minimize noise. The three copper heat pipes dissipate heat from both the CPU and GPU during heavy gaming workloads. The efficient thermal design protects internal components.
Stay Connected
Play with friends or compete against opponents from all around the world with a wired Gigabit LAN connection or a wireless Wi-Fi 7 connection. For peripherals and accessories, you can connect with USB-C and USB-A ports or go wireless with Bluetooth.
Windows 11 Home
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, and Virtual Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.
