The Gemini 215 Active Stereo Vision 3D Camera from Orbbec is designed to produce highly detailed scans of short-range subjects like body parts and small objects. This camera utilizes active stereo IR technology for depth and RBG captures at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps. It excels at indoor scanning between 0.7 and 1.6', but can scan objects between 0.5 and 2.3' away.
The camera is capable of depth and color imaging, utilizing a global shutter for the former and a rolling shutter for the latter. The integrated ASIC MX6600 chip provides real-time processing for depth scanning. The Gemini 215 has a depth FOV of 63 x 44.8° at 2.3' and an RGB FOV of 74.7 x 46.2°. With multiple cameras, you can expand the field of view thanks to multi-device sync support. Power and data connection is available via the integrated USB-C port.
