The AV-HSW10 3G-SDI/NDI/HDMI 1080p Compact Live Switcher from Panasonic provides broadcast-quality live video switching in a compact chassis, supporting up to 1080p60 resolution. It provides you with four 3G-SDI and two HDMI inputs, which output to two 3G-SDI and one HDMI port, as well as IP and NDI streaming for local video distribution. Connect an IP-enabled PTZ to the LAN terminal and unlock IP streaming with one 3G-SDI and one HDMI input with corresponding output ports, while adding one NDI streaming input.
Features include multiple keyers, two AUX buses, and multiview output for creative control over your video broadcast. Up, down, and cross conversion are supported by the AV-HSW10, and there is a frame synchronizer on all inputs.
High-Quality Video
The AV-HSW10 supports 10-bit processing and is equipped with diverse functions like frame synchronizers, genlock, and various keyers. It also has a 2RCA audio input port for switching between audio and visual sources. This allows the unit to excel in professional online lectures, corporate webinars, and other live event applications.
Diverse IP Interface
IP standards supported by the switcher include NDI high bandwidth, NDI HX, and SRT IP transmission. When combined with IP-enabled PTZ cameras, it creates a simple one-to-one video production system. It also supports the RTMP protocol for direct upload to streaming services and a USB-C video class port for compatibility with web conferencing services. The system can be adjusted depending on your production needs, all while allowing for one-person operation.
Intuitive Operation
Tactile response buttons with soft silicone rubber make for easy switching between sources. A T-shaped fader on the unit is similar in design to higher-end models. Two channels of keyers can be programmed for PiP, linear, luminance, or chroma key, enabling high-quality compositing achievable only with 10-bit signal processing. Wipes can be selected from 16 different patterns. Two AUX buses are also provided.
Multiviewer
The multiviewer output allows up to 16 split screen displays on a single screen. It features 10 selectable patterns to customize the output appearance.
Remote Control with Software Control Panel
The AW-HSW10 can be remotely controlled using Panasonic's Software Control Panel for video monitoring and switching with a networked PC. Multiview images can be checked remotely to divide up production tasks for greater on-site efficiency.
Moving Color Bars
The compact live switcher offers two types of moving color bars for testing the operation, display, and output of devices such as LED walls, displays, and projectors. Test images can be output directly from the switcher, eliminating the need for a signal generator.
Tally
In addition to output from tally/GPI terminals, the AV-HSW10 supports tally output via LAN. It also supports 12 shot memories for registering and recalling background transition patterns, PiP sizes, border widths, and other video effects. Any functions such as KEY1 PVW, GPII-EN, and other menu items can be assigned to a user button.
