App compatibility enables seamless smartphone connection for transferring images via Bluetooth or USB-C.
Connect, Print & Share
Connect your smartphone and Pal 2 camera via Bluetooth or using the built-in USB-C connector to easily transfer images into the instax Pal app.

When you're ready to print, select your images in the app and transfer them to a compatible instax smartphone printer, such as the Link WIDE 2, or hybrid instant camera.

30 Effects to Choose From
After pairing the PAL 2 with its dedicated app, you can choose from up to thirty unique effects by turning the camera's top dial.

The core effects categories are: Custom, Modern, Y2K, Vintage, Chromatic, and Fantasy.

Each major category offers six filters that greatly impact the style of your final images, ensuring your photography stands out and reflects your aesthetic.

New Animation Shooting Mode
A new way of capturing images, instax's Animation mode allows you to take 10 individual frames and turn them into a flipbook-style animation. A dedicated lever on the top of the camera allows quick switching between modes.

I still think this is a better overall camera than the Kodak Charmera and similar cameras, but there are the typical Fujifilm bonehead moves that make you question a lot. First and foremost, the camera has an incorporated USB-C connection that extends from the body…great, however, you can’t connect it to a phone when it’s in a case because it’s not long enough. Thankfully, Fujifilm provides an extension cable! Sadly, that cable doesn’t support any form of data transfer…unreal! So I’m left to using Bluetooth/Wifi to take photos off the camera….but when you do this, the only option is for HIGHLY compressed images that look like trash, so I’ll never use that method again until the camera supports a higher quality photo over WiFi. Fujifilm!!! Why did you make this camera so bad with two simple decisions?

Yes, according to the manufacturer, the FUJIFILM instax Pal 2 Digital Camera and print to a Fuji Instax printer without using a smart phone.
