Askar 65PHQ Quintuplet APO Telescope (OTA Only)

Whether you're looking through an eyepiece or imaging with an astronomical camera or a DSLR, you'll benefit from the lens design and compact form factor of the 65PHQ Quintuplet APO Telescope from Askar. It features a quintuplet air-spaced apochromatic lens system that eliminates the need to use a separate field flattener. The quint APO has two extra-low dispersion elements that dramatically reduce chromatic aberration. This design also eliminates the need to calculate back focus distance—just attach your camera with one of the three included adapters and you're ready for imaging. The f/6.4 focal ratio and 416mm focal length lend themselves to deep-sky photography, but add a diagonal with a high-magnification eyepiece and the scope is great for planetary observation.
