I needed my heavy tripod (Vinten Vision 3) after using a lightweight for the last couple of years and the mounting plate was missing (probably went out accidentally with one of the cameras I sold). I chatted with B&H, they sent a link, and I ordered it. Extremely easy!

When I got the Vinten mounting plate I was disappointed because I expected a 1/4 screw and a VHS adapter pin, just like those I got with my original Vinten mounting plate. The plate only came with two 3/8 screws. I bought a Vision 3 head because Vinten recommended it for my Canon XhA1 and XL-1s. I cannot use my cameras with it as it is.

What are the dimensions of the plate?
