i have been looking for a stand that will fit in a small road case and this is the one. it has a wide base and is strong. going to use it to hold my boom pole
We really like the Lowel Uni Sr. stands. We've got a ton of them. They fold up nice and small and are pretty light-weight yet still tough and durable. We run a small rental house for students who don't necessarily know how to use the gear and these stand up to that kind of abuse for years.
