Canon TM-500 Overview

The imagePROGRAF TM-500 24" Large Format Printer from Epson is engineered to produce posters and technical documents in crisp detail. The printer is capable of handling media up to 24" wide with a resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi. Utilizing a 5-Color LUCIA TD pigment ink system designed for vivid colors and outstanding blacks, the printer produces beautiful color prints and detailed AEC documents. The printer also features stellar image processing for defined text and line production. It can produce up to 2.4 D-sized prints each minute.

Automatic media detection and on-board color calibration make producing the perfect print easier. Navigating the imagePROGRAF TM-500 is simple as well, thanks to the 4.3" tilt touchscreen. It is designed with a flat-top, compact form factor to fit in home or small studio spaces. Connection is available via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi.

Simple Media Handling
Media is loaded by mounting the media roll on the spindle and sliding it into the device. Once manually fed, the printer automatically detects the media type and width and estimates the amount of the roll, which is shown on the display panel. It is compatible with 2" core rolls.
More Printing, Less Downtime
The printer utilizes a hot swap ink system that takes advantage of a sub-ink tank so you can replace inks on the fly. This helps to reduce downtime and boost productivity. Four 55mL inks (Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta) and one 80mL Matte Black ink are included for high-capacity printing out of the box.
Stellar Security
The imagePROGRAF TM-500 offers enhanced security features to help protect against unauthorized printing, device access, and network intrusions or data tampering.
Software Suite
Canon offers handy software to help you utilize the imagePROGRAF TM-500 to its full potential. The Canon Large Format Printer App gives you access to how-to videos, printing and photo events, firmware and software updates. PosterArtist is a web-based, template-driven poster creation application that lets you easily create posters and flyers.
