Trying to adjust it using the tiny screws is maddening. I've had it 2 days and am throwing it away and buying something useful.

This polar axis finder fits the AVX mount perfectly. The lack of ilumination has not been a problem as I only use the finderscope when setting up at dusk.

Note that this Polar Axis Finderscope (item #94224) is specific to the Celestron CGEM, Advanced VX, or CG-5 equatorial mounts. Refer to https://www.celestron.com/products/cg-5-avx-cgem-polar-finderscope. Celestron has slightly different models for other mounts.

If you are breaking the telescope down you need to do a polar alignment each time you set it up.
