Photographers Formulary Print Frames are made at the Formulary from high quality oak, with a felt-lined, hinged back board for print inspection.
Pressure clips hold your negative secure while printing.
All frames are made one inch bigger than the size quoted. (i.e. an 8x10" frame actually has a glass size of 9x11" so that you get a full 8x10" print).
Frames are stained black.
Only knock on the device is the very difficult to manipulate lever snaps. Required a tool to unlatch/latch the catches. A TINY drop of oil reduced the effort dramatically.
The glass was laid upon the paper and the negative, no pressure was used and the glass broke. The glass, IMHO, is terrible quality. Nothing like the older contact frame which we had and which was used constantly for years with nothing ever breaking. A waste of money.
