The Cinewave Pro HD Digital Option will upgrade the Cinewave system to an advanced Uncompressed HD Solution. The Cinewave Pro HD Solution is the first affordable desktop system to capture and edit Uncompressed High-Definition footage. With support for all of the widely used HD formats, including uncompressed 1080i/30, 29.97, 1080i/25, 1080p/24, and even 1080p/23.98 fps for true 23.976 editing support in Final Cut Pro, you can directly capture and record to Sony® HDCam, Panasonic® D5 HD, and DVCPro HD VTRs. There is also limited support for 720p. Because the HD material is brought in as a native QuickTime format, Cinewave HD Option gives you the flexibility to work with HD material in many applications.
Native HD
With the Cinewave HD Option you can edit in native HD format of 23.976 fps, without having to struggle with repeated conversions between 29.97 and 23.976. Which means no more slipped frames, out-of-sync audio, and frame count discrepancies. Basically no more hassles. Now you can do Color Correction, Play with camera moves, Composite, and much more - all in one solution.
Simultaneous Multi Format Output
Unique to Cinewave is the ability to simultaneously output uncompressed SD and HD content. This is a huge time saver when you need to send SD review copies of your HD work-in-progress.
24 Frame Editing
Cinewave HD supports true 24-frame editing from acquisition to distribution. Editing at 24 fps means there is no need for error prone, time consuming frame rate conversions.
CineOffline HD
With CineOffline, you can maintain 24 fps in the offline mode to conserve valuable hard drive space while maintaining your output to an external HD and NTSC/PAL monitor.
Real-Time Down Conversion
Cinewave HD performs real-time, down-conversion of HD formats to SD video (with optional SD breakout box), with appropriate letterbox and poster box masking inserted automatically to accommodate the different frame aspect ratios. Cinewave also performs a real-time 3:2 pull-down to play out 24 fps source clips as properly timed 60 field interlace (30 fps) formats including 1080i/60 and 525i/60, with full support for 59.94 clocking as well.
