The Sx80 cabinet design offers RMD (Ring-Mode Decoupling) which controls both acoustical and mechanical ring modes, allowing for more intelligibility and reduced resonance, and therefore greater clarity. The high-frequency titanium horn's voice coil is coupled to the diaphragm to produce a smoother, flatter response requiring less internal equalization.
