The Sx80's cabinet design offers RMD (Ring-Mode Decoupling) which controls both acoustical and mechnical ring modes allowing for more intelligibility and reduced resonance, while giving the listener less "muddiness". The high-frequency, titanium horn's voicecoil is coupled to the diaphragm to produce a smoother, flatter response and requires less internal equalization.
