Speed Ring for Bowens, Impact is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but not perfect. They don't seem to fit perfect on the Bowen Monolights, They go on ok, but don't lock in. With bowen stuff you cant turn the rings, but with this one, it turns, and if you get to where the 3 prongs are lined up where you put them on, they will come out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mine broke too... In my case, two of the teeth came off. The rest of my Travelite/Bowens speed rings have never had this problem and have worked perfectly for 5+ years. This, I only got a few uses out of it. Not too happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Photoflex to the rescue I haven't had any problems with this even feeling like it was going to break. I purchased this after an impact version arrived and didn't fit into a bowens mount light. Pretty frustrating. I called and ordered this one and bh was nice enough to ship it two day so I didn't miss my shoot. The quality of this ring as opposed to the generic version is night and day. This is well made. Period. I'm using it with a 39 deep octabox. Works great. Mounts easily and works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks Easily! I've had it for 2months more or less... I don't even use it that often, and I am veryyy carefull with all my equipment, nothing ever breaks, but this Speed Ring. I use it to hold a large Photoflex OCTODOME 7'; I rarely use it. One of the teeth broke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Fits great with my Chimera softbox poles, which was the reason I bought this. When mounted onto my light (Alzo 3200), it's a little loose. I think the tabs aren't as tall on this speedring as other bowens mount stuff I've used. I don't know if that's the fault of my light or this speedring. But it seems to be constructed solidly, and works well enough for what I need even if it's a little loose on my light.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DOES THE JOB -BUT This speed ring is ok,does the job.BUT....manufacturer....check out the Bowens original speed rings. These bad boys have a clip that allow the speed ring to fold in half, relaes the pressure for easy assembly....AND....on the squareish soft boxes, this lets them fols flat fully assembled and transport like a folder envelop....check it out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I expected more I expected to have a better result because this was not the cheapest available. I use it with a 400w/s impact strobe and a large softbox. The problem is that with this large softbox it is quite difficult to install, and it not attaches too firm. It winks insise and the lock of the strobe does not do its job as should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised This works just as it should but I only gave it 4 stars because the teflon inserts meant to let you turn your softbox are VERY stiff. In order for it to turn you pretty much need to hold onto the light stand and really give it a tug. You don't want a ring that moves on it's own but this is a bit much.
