question
Sourced on another site, it says this product will work with any rectangular softbox. I need to see if this is accurate?? I am going to be adapting a softbox to an iKAN LED fresnel that does not offer a softbox option. Any recommendations would also be greatly appreciated.
From our experience with this speed ring, it can work with most high heat softboxes such as those from Chimera, Photoflex, or Westcott. The Photoflex Large SilverDome nxt (34 x 45 x 24.5 ) B&H # PHSDLZ would be a great choice.

question
Is this adjustable speed ring basically the same as the Chimera #9901 only for a lot less money ? It's still overpriced for what you get in my opinion.
This speed ring would have about the same attributes as a Chimera 9901 Adjustable Speed Ring for much less.
