Setting up in fewer than five minutes, the Manfrotto Skylite system is collapsible and easy to use. This is a Large, 78 x 78" aluminum frame only. Choose a fabric from the accessories window, or order this item as part of a kit.

The hollow aluminum frame is lightweight, but extremely strong and rust resistant.
An elastic cord runs through the aluminum, so it's impossible to lose parts or leave anything behind.
The system dismantles in moments without having to remove the fabric.

Sturdy and very easy to build. It gives you confidence it won’t break or fail under normal use. You could certainly DIY your own fabrics to the frame with bungees and grommets but honestly fabrics are fairly priced and constructed well so you might as well save yourself the trouble and just go with them. Only gripe I have is it doesn’t collapse down very small. The cord inside it prevents the tubes from coming apart enough to let you fold it down to a more convenient size. I am able to fit it into a large equipment duffle though so it’s working for me. I also wish it came with grip heads for mounting but it’s easy enough to find them on your own. I got the Impact heads for wide tubes. Definitely recommend.

I work on location, these frames are sturdy yet compact. With the various fabrics available, I get great use out of them as scrims and as bounces. Though it hasn't happened yet, I do expect the elastic cord that holds it together to give someday.
