Can I lean this up against a wall or wide cabinet, or must I get stands to hold it up?
You can lean it against a wall, but the angle is enough to cause some issues. We just used clips and hooked it to the top of a whiteboard in the office.

Can this be used outdoors? Can it get wet???
sure you could take this outdoors, but if you have any wind blowing at all, so will this Green Screen. It would become a sail! If it gets wet you'd hope it would all get wet in order to keep the green color consistent. But this is really for indoor use or at least out of the elements.

what's the best way to set it up? C stand with clamps or regular light stands?
You could use either. c-stands are more stable obviously. We usually suspend on location from drop ceilings with A clamps
