We purchased this case for our camera and lens on our boat and it worked out perfectly. Very happy with this purchase and it's always a great buying experience with B & H. Everything arrives as promised.

Functional way to store camera gear. I use it to store a gimbal that will bang around in a vehicle enroute to a wildlife shoot. Meets and exceeds my expectations. Well constructed. Delivered in a timely way.

Survived Salmon River rafting trip

This is my first Pelican case...bought specifically for a week long whitewater rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. My gear included Canon 6D, Canon 17-40mm, Canon 100-400mm, and spare battery. I ended up having to keep the 100-400 mounted on the camera because there wasn't enough room to keep separate and have enough foam between components. The case was amazing and even survived a full submersion at Tappan Falls! Would highly recommend

Peliecan are the best cases in the market. We own a few other brands when we want to save a money and the task isn't that important. But otherwise, these are simple great and we haven't had one break yet!

I've never had a problem with the cases other than replacing the O rings every six years or so.

Hi there! Will the Ronin S gimbal fit in this case? Thanks!
Asked by: Dustin
No, The specs I looked up on B&H showed the Ronin S gimbal to be 23 inches long which is way to big for this case, which is just 14 inches across.

question

Is there enough room for a Nikon D810 and 14-24mm, 24-70mm, & 70-200mm lens?
Asked by: Napoleon F.
You could fit the D810 body and one lens in this case with little effort. I have a 5D and 24-70mm nestled in mine. Fitting two additional lenses in would be a bit of a magic trick, however.

The cut out area of the foam is too small. If you remove the foam it'll fit. The Nanuk 923 is a better choice. https://bhpho.to/3mnQxUb

question

We do a lot of river rafting in big rapids. A really tight case is important. The 1450 and the M2200 are similar in size. Would you recommend one over the other for heavy duty conditions involving whitewater?
Asked by: Tom M.
I bought my 1450 case for size to hold one of my specialty drill rigs. A water seal was not important to me. Sorry I cannot help you.
