Does anyone know if this pouch can protect SD cards from xray machines and the like?
Memory cards are not affected by airport x-ray machines or any of the scanners. The Domke Film Guard Bag (X-Ray) is only needed for light sensitive material such as film.

Yes, it does. I have personally used larger versions of this bags with 120 and 35mm rolls of film travelling back-and-forth internationally and have not had any issues. Keep it mind that these are really only protective against the low-intensity carry-on x-rays, and not great with higher speed films and check-in baggage x-ray machines.

Can someone give a clear answer stating which size bag they have experience putting 120 5 roll unopened pro-packs into. The width of these bags is not shown in the photos, nor listed in the specs. Are they flat envelope style, or do they expand into a rectangular prismatic shape?
you can put 7 films of 120! :-) I do it every time...

There is no indication from the manufacturer that the Domke Film Guard Bag (X-Ray), Large - Holds 35 Rolls of 35mm Film or Three 50 Sheet Boxes of 4x5" Film will protect against the new CT scanners. It is only rated for X-ray machines.

Svag Will the tsa persons say when they can't see through the bag on their machine? Won't they just want you to empty the bag ?
Yes, using the Domke Film Guard Bag (X-Ray), Large some times TSA will make you empty it and X-ray the contents. Or they might just hand inspect.
