The V-R154P is a rack mountable and high resolution 15" LCD monitor. Built into the unit is a quad-splitter making the display able to output 4 video sources simultaneously. Additionally, the monitor has a NTSC television tuner. It also integrates a sequential switcher, picture-in-picture functions, a router, and stereo audio input with speakers. All this, while mounted in the rack, can be tilted a full 90 degrees if desired. The unit fills 8 rack units and weighs only 14 pounds.
There are three display options available for viewing the four inputs.The Quad Splitter function allows up to four source inputs to display on the monitor simultaneously. This is accomplished by dividing the display into quadrants (1/4 the size of the full screen). A Sequential Switcher will switch between the four inputs, one after another with a full screen image. A Router allows any one of the four inputs to display a full screen image at any given time.
The V-R154P accepts analog composite and Y/C (S-Video) video sources, as well as XGA from a computer with a resolution of 1024x768.
The Front Panel Controls offer access to a OSD (On Screen Display) for calibration of the monitor. Control is also available for video routing with the touch of a button on the front panel.
Four Balanced Audio stereo audio inputs are also available with a "Audio Follow Video" feature. Though any audio source can also be routed to accompany any of the video sources. Built-in speakers allow monitoring of the selected audio input, directly from the display.
Supports NTSC and PAL worldwide color systems.
A Rackmount adaptor is built-in for easy mounting into a rack cabinet.
