This Large Video Pro Plus Strip Softbox in silver from Chimera measures 21 x 84" and is designed for use with an HMI, hot light, or strobe. With fabric intended for the heat of a continuous light up to 1200 watts, the Plus Strip comes standard with a silver interior and has a recessed, removable front face to provide more control of light than one with a flush front.
The "Plus" designation means the front face may be removed. A 1/2 or 1/4 strength fabric could be used instead, for slightly more light transmission and less of a softening effect. A speed ring is required and not included.
Suitable for full length set-ups with children, or when a soft edge, or hair-light is needed for a small group of people.
Heat-resistant silver interior provides a soft light with specular highlights.
Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for many manufacturers' strobes.
