The GFM 132 features a hemispherical polar pattern that provides a wide pick-up area and eliminates surface noise.
The triangular design is computer simulated and optimized to eliminate the filter effects associated with boundary and surface mounted microphones. The result is a uniform frequency response at all angles with a boost in the upper frequencies for enhanced signal presence. A 10dB Pad switch enhances headroom and avoids distortion and noise caused by excessively loud signals. The GFM132 requires +48V phantom power and is ideal for capturing stage performances, lectures, conferences, broadcast and professional recording applications.
