Neumann GFM 132 Boundary Microphone
Key Features
  • F/ Instruments/Vocals/Ambiance
  • Ideal f/ Stage Performances
  • Ideal f/ Lectures/Conferences/Etc.
  • Hemispherical Layer
Neumann's experience and history of manufacturing quality microphones is apparent in the Neumann GFM 132 Boundary Microphone, a professional boundary microphone intended for capturing instruments, vocals, and ambiance. The GFM 132 features a hemispherical polar pattern that provides a wide pick-up area and eliminates surface noise.

The triangular design is computer simulated and optimized to eliminate the filter effects associated with boundary and surface mounted microphones. The result is a uniform frequency response at all angles with a boost in the upper frequencies for enhanced signal presence. A 10dB Pad switch enhances headroom and avoids distortion and noise caused by excessively loud signals. The GFM132 requires +48V phantom power and is ideal for capturing stage performances, lectures, conferences, broadcast and professional recording applications.

A boundary microphone for instruments, vocals, ambiance, stage performances, lectures, conferences
Hemispherical polar pattern avoids surface noise while exhibiting uniform frequency response when capturing signal around perimeter of microphone
Computer-generated contoured structure which avoids coloration associated with surface-mounted microphones
Slightly-enhanced upper frequencies
10dB Pad switch increases headroom for capturing signals that distort from excessive gain
Requires +48V phantom power
