Sony WRT-847B66/68 Overview

The WRT-847B(66) is a high-quality, hand-held UHF transmitter system. It's modular design, allows it to be configured easily for any application. A choice of different mic elements provides ultimate flexibility. A new, ultra-wide (24MHz) frequency range provides extreme tuning flexibility and helps to maintain reliable operation, even in areas with potential problems, due to heavy RF traffic. This model WRT-847B66 is on TV channels 66/68 (66, 67, 68 & 69).

Modular design
Allows configuration for various applications with any of five different microphone heads.
PLL-synthesized tuning
Provides 188 UHF frequencies, tunable within a 24 MHz range.
Back-lit LCD display
Shows status of transmitter frequency, channel, input sensitivity, accumulated battery time, time constant, battery status. Back-light operates momentarily during powerup to verify status in poor lighting conditions.
DC-DC converter
Provides consistent performance during rated battery life. 8 hours of continuous battery life with 2 "AA" alkaline battery.
Locking on/off switch
Prevents accidental power-off.
10mW/50mW switchable RF output
Allows use in multi-channel systems with minimal inter-modulation (IM) distortion, or in longer distance ENG-type.
Compatible with all Sony 800 MHz wireless tuners
Works with Sony wireless receivers which cover compatible range (some models not available on channels 62/63). Can be used in combination with any other Sony 800MHz UHF transmitters.
