The Samson Airline Series portable wireless lavalier system includes the AL1 miniature transmitter / microphone and AM1 receiver. The system's miniature design makes it usable virtually anywhere and transmission over UHF frequencies result in minimal drop-outs and interference.
The Samson AM1 camera mountable receiver is Samson's smallest wireless receiver to date and perhaps available in general. Measuring only 2 inches by 1 5/8 inches, this compact receiver operates over the UHF band of frequencies resulting in minimal drop-outs and interference from local radio frequencies. The unit features an audio out, headphone out, monitor level control, a Mic/Line output switch, Power switch and multi-function LED. The receiver is capable of operating from five to eight hours on a single triple-A battery.
The Samson AL1 is a miniature transmitter with built-in microphone for use with any of the Samson-Micro line of receivers. The transmitter features a built-in unidirectional electret condenser microphone providing sound quality suitable for interviews, presentation, documentary work etc. A sub-mini input allows users to adapt an external lavalier microphone and phantom power is provided for condenser microphones. The transmitter operates over the UHF band resulting in minimal drop-outs and radio frequency interference. Also featured are Power and Mute switches, input level control and a two-function LED display. The AL1 features a 14 hour battery life a single triple-A battery.The Audio Technica MT-350 lavalier microphone features an omni-directional polar pattern for even frequency and dynamic response with signal directed at off and on axis sections of the capsule. This particular version features a sub-mini connector for use with the Samson Airline series wireless systems.
