Epson S041171 reviews

Presentation Paper Matte (17 x 22", 100 Sheets) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not buying this one again It is too thin - if you need solid coverage this is not the stock to buy. I bought 2 boxes for a client project. Thanks B&H for your easy return policy. I returned one box but kept the one I open because I think like the other reviewer, I should have dug deeper in the specs. So I can use it for proofing or freebies. Reminder always look at the mil thickness and not just the gram weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Rate for Posters etc. This is an extremely inexpensive, light weight paper. It's best used for posters, presentations and temporary signage. Regrettably, Epson's naming scheme for papers seems to be under constant and confusing evolution. In spite of the word Photo in this paper's name, it is not, and is not spec'ed for archival quality photographic prints. Archival quality matte digital photo papers (Moab, Epson etc.) usually run $4 or more a sheet. At under 55 a sheet (in 17x22 size) this paper is great for those other projects that don't need high end media

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you print maps? I use this paper with Epson pigment printers(3800, 3880) to print USGS topographic maps. It' perfect for this purpose. You can print a map using the PK ink with acceptable quality to avoid Epson black ink changes. The maps so made are durable and problem with the in coming off, etc when using Epson pigment ink. If you print conventional photos on it, in becomes warped due to the wetness of the large quantity of ink.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected This paper is very slim and not meant for photography, there is no gloss or matte finish either. I should have dug deeper into the 'specs' page to see the actual weight of the paper, but typically any type of paper advertised as photo Quality will have some thickness to it - so I wrongly assumed that this would also be as good as my other photo papers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile paper for various needs Print quality is excellent for such a thin paper. I use this paper with my Epson 3880 for printing various types of projects. It works perfectly for graphics based work. It also accepts photographic detail surprisingly well for its weight. It works well as a proofing paper for design needs. It is not, however, a paper to print finalized work on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good paper The only thing I did not like about this paper is you can't handle it too much because the ink will come off. It's perfect for posters and mounted work. The colors are the best I have seen. I'm going to try using a varnish with it to stop over time handling problem because the other papers I have just don't look as good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paper needs better packing because corners are crushed The paper is great, but the little puffy pillows thrown into the box with the loose paper do not prevent the corners from being crushed. That greatly reduces the usability of the paper. Wrapping the paper box in both directions with bubble wrap to protect the corners would be a shipper's brain changing event.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Matte Paper Choice I love everything about this paper. It's the perfect weight and has an excellent smooth matte finish. Perfect for any print project trying to achieve a matte look.
