RT-32N Radio Transmitter Module is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 152.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Helpful Okay, I give it 4-stars because it either should be included in the Sekonic 358 light meter or sold for less than $50 ... and it would be nice if it worked with equipment other than Pocket Wizard (e.g., Radio Poppers) ... but those quibbles aside, it really improves the versatility of the light meter, particularly if you are shooting without the aid of an assistant. Allows you to much more quickly take the needed light readings and, in some cases, allows you take a reading that you otherwise wouldn't be able to take (assuming you have no other way trigger your camera).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much more convenient. I use this in conjunction with the Pocketwizard PlusII as well as Profoto Air Remote. I needed a way to wirelessly fire the Air Remote via the Sekonic L-358 and this works beautifully. Just connect the Pocketwizard PlusII to the Air Remote via a MONO 3.5mm cable and voila! Works perfectly. If used correctly. The one issue I noticed is if one PlusII is too close to the L-358, it doesn't transmit to the other PlusII reliably. Its probably in the manual, but who reads that stuff :). Yesterday the whole setup saved my bacon, when the batteries in the Air Remote failed. After plugging a PlusII directly into the Profoto D1, I was back at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make sure you are on the right frequency I brought this transmitter for my Sekonic L358 flash meter. First and foremost, Sekonic needs to make it clear when you purchase the meter this transmitter is not in the box. It's an option. The basic meter unit will not work an off camera flash remotely without this transmitter. I've seen them on the internet for as high as $200.00! Make sure you get the correct version. There are two types available, one for the USA another for Europe. The unit for the USA does not work in Europe and vice versa. There are a lot of European units for sale here in the USA. ...Nikon D300 - Nikon SB 900 Flash Unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I bought the Sekonic L-358 light meter planning on buying this transmitter in the future. It took 5 years for me to get some PocketWizard Transceivers and off-camera flashes to use it but I am very pleased with the product. The integration is seamless. If a remote camera is set up, the transmitter can trip the shutter. It makes sense, obviously, but frees up one of your PocketWizards if you don't have a limitless budget (like all of us these days.) No problems whatsoever. I had to read in the light meter's manual that the quad triggering only works with the more expensive MultiMAX PocketWizards in channels 16-32 so be aware of that before you purchase it. I haven't noticed any reduction in battery life due to the radio transmitter in the 3 months that I've had the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sekonic transmitter module iv'e had my l358 for almost 2 years now, and i have never thought that i would be using the transmitter module for the pocket wizards. but lately i've been setting up photo booths at parties and while using a on camera flash is ok using my new studio strobes provides way better pictures, and consequently has given me more clients. the transmitter module is really not totally necessary but it sure does save me a lot of time while i setup taking different measurements from different areas of the area. while i think the price is fair, i think that they could have sold it at half the price, after all it is just a radio module

Rated 5 out of 5 by from req'd accessory for flash-light metering If you own the L358 Sekonic light meter, I feel this module to be essential for reliable pocket wizard family radio communication between your hand held light meter and your off camera flash unit(s), triggering the off camera flash while you measure the light at subject, without having to run back and forth. The prospective buyer should refer to countless on line videos on U Tube showing radio triggering of off camera flash units. In addition refer to the Sekonic website.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not quite sure its worth the price This adapter goes right into the back of the flash meter. Easy set up and works perfectly. Not quite sure its worth the $ though. How much harder is it to hold the flash meter and have the Pocket Wizard transmitter in the other hand to trigger the flashes vs just pushing the meter button on the Sekonic? Slighty more convient in my opinion. I guess I bought this because I got paid and I felt like buying something in general. I could do without it though. Maybe if it was only $ I wouldnt feel this way.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from RT-32 & PW AC3/Mini/Flex TT5 issues I have a PW MiniTT1, 5 x FlexTT5 and AC3. The problem I have with the RT-32 is that for the AC3 to work you have to set the flashes to Manual (and the AC3 then gives you manual control). If the PWs are set to work in ETTL you must click the box (in PW Utility, which the stops the Sekonic from functioning). This means you have to make sure each zone that you have Speedlites is on M, or Manual, on the AC3. With the AC3 zones set to M, you now have the remote flashes firing at the same power level, consistently. I am sure there are other work-around-ways. But Sekonic is coming out with a new transmitter that addresses this problem. I am returning my RT-32 and getting the new one soon.
