Califone 1500AVBL Portable Cassette Recorder

Califone cassettes are built for reliability and consistent performance, largely in the service of the educational market. The 1500AVBL is a very inexpensive personal home-study or learning laboratory listening and recording solution for younger schoolchildren.

Standard features include fast forward and rewind, a built-in electret microphone, and inputs for an optional Stop/Start-activating external dynamic microphone. All units are both battery and AC powered. The 1500AVBL is housed in a fun, translucent, blueberry-colored casing, and two 1/4" headphone jacks are available for group study. Califone has also, very thoughtfully, provided raised operating control-symbol graphics, in support of the sight-impaired.
