    Hakuba PSTC-400 reviews

PSTC 400 Stand Case is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 199.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality When I purchased this item I couldn't find a review to actually tell me how many light stands this case could actually hold, I did read the measurements and get a ball park idea of how big it was, but when I actually put two of my light stands inside the case and expected this case to actually be full, we'll I was shocked to see that I could probably put two more light stands inside it. The quality of this case is great with a very durable feel to it, plenty of little storage compartments for tools and umbrella holders or whatever kind of head you may have. This case seems like it will last a very long time and will probably go through light stands faster then the case. Great case for the money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with this purchase. I bought this bag to hold an Avenger Low Boy stand. I bought it online as I couldn't find anything locally made (in Melbourne, Australia). It is the perfect size for what I require however the first time I tried to zip it up the stitching that holds the zipper gave way. I'm talking straight out the the freight case the stitching gave way. I can't begin to describe how disappointed I am. Unfortunately it would cost me more to freight it back to B&H Photo than the item is worth so I am stuck with it. My only recourse is to warn others about what I consider to be very poor workmanship and quality. Save your money, don't buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but short lived Good sized bag, I carry two of them, each with two large stands, one small stand, one umbrella and one soft box. Fits nicely in the bag. But both of mine have totally ripped out at the seams along the zipper. I extended the life of the bag by gluing strips of nylon on the rip. It looks terrible but it did work for a good additional year. I was able to use these bags for three years each. Not horrible considering they're pretty inexpensive. On the hand I won't buy them again. Its too bad I do really like these bags.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great case for multiple items I love this case and use it for 2 11' foot stands and 2 45 umbrellas. The padding around the outside makes me feel more comfortable carting it around with my other bags. The smaller outer and inner compartments are nice for smaller items and you can even carry your flashes in this bag (though I feel better with them in my camera bag). I only wish there was a full length divider on the inside so I could have some separation between my stand and umbrellas. Nothing has broken yet, but it is a possibility w/everything in one large pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CARRIES THREE LIGHT STANDS WITH EASE I bought this PSTC 400 stand case by Hakuba because I was tired of throwing my light stands in the back of the car and sweating about getting them all scratched up. This case is very good quality material. I was worried about one reviewer who said the zippers broke the first time he used the bag. But, I've found the zippers to be plenty robust and I've had no problem with them at all. I can fit all three of my light stands into the bag with room for a few accessories as well. It's great to be able to grab just one bag instead of fooling around with all the individual stands. This bag would work well for larger tripods, boom arms and other long, thin items as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality bag for light stands I bought this bag to carry three light stands. They are Impact 9.6' A-C 3-SECT. HEAVY DUTY STAND(BLK) (B&H# IMLS96HAB), and attached to each of them are Impact UMBRELLA BRACKET w/ADJUSTABLE SHOE (B&H# IMUB). I would love for the bag to be just 1-2 inches longer, because I have to fold the brackets at right angles and the stands just barely fit. Sometimes it's a bit frustrating to get them to lie in the bag just right so I can zip it up, but it does zip up, and then it's perfect. If you had smaller stands this wouldn't be a problem, obviously. I appreciate having both handles and a shoulder strap. The materials and construction seem to be durable, but I've only had it a week or so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Internal straps are a drag Nice size and padded well to store my 2 stage Manfrotto tripod with head attached. What I hate are those tie down straps that are sewn inside bag. I have no desire to use them (too much time to strap) and they're not removable so they get caught / snagged on the legs or head as you slide tripod into bag. 4 stars cause it's the only bag out there at this pricepoint that's decent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light duty large umbrella/stand case I have the smaller 300 series case which holds a few key items (medium photek, 2 umbrellas and 2 Manfrotto nesting stands) which I love. This uses the same thickness padding and fabric and zippers as my 300 but since it's 30% larger it makes it feel of lower quality. I do worry about it ripping, but only time will tell. Right now I am using it to carry 3 larger light stands, a 40 grip arm with extra grip head and some other knick knacks. It won't fit my Impact C-stands (short by a couple inches) but I'd be worried about it not lasting very long with 2 C-stands inside.
