More than a cloth?

I'm using this cloth and brush with an epson V850 scanner. It seems to do okay with dust but isn't catching everything. I'm feeling unsure as to wether it works any better than my regular microfiber cloth.

Can the cloth be washed?

According to Kinetronics, the cloth can be washed and line-dried, but might lose its conductive properties after a few washes. Even if that happens, the tiger cloth will still be a very effective cleaning cloth, but lack static-dissipating properties.
